ABOUT THE TEAM: Key Tech Labs (Normandy Park, WA) is a non-profit organization bringing emerging technologies to underprivileged areas to help create self-sustainable communities.

ABOUT THE PROJECT: The team is transforming decommissioned solar panels into sustainable energy solutions to power robotic systems that automate seeding, watering, and weeding of community gardens and urban and small family farms in underserved, black, indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) communities in Northwest Washington state. During NextCycle, the team will refine its financial model, strengthen reuse processes, identify solar recycling partners, enhance community engagement, and prepare for future grants opportunities.
