ABOUT THE TEAM: Jefferson Timber Cooperative (Quilcene, WA) is a for-profit cooperative composed of microentrepreneurs processing local wood and transforming waste materials into viable products.

ABOUT THE PROJECT: The team developing a zero waste local wood processing center that transforms sawdust, offcuts, and planer shavings into creative products like biofuels, biochar, composting substrates, and interior paneling. During NextCycle, the team will refine their business plan, identify the best options for developing products, connect with partners, and identify financing resources to invest in the necessary equipment to achieve the zero waste vision.
