ABOUT THE PROJECT: The team is piloting a decentralized plastic recycling system using enzymatic hydrolysis to break down PET plastics and polyesters and then re-polymerize them into virgin-like quality PET plastic resin, all within the footprint of a local material recovery facility. During NextCtycle, the team will refine its business plan and messaging, connect with partners, and identify funding opportunities.
