ABOUT THE TEAM: Biomethane (Spokane, WA) is a renewable natural gas (RNG) consulting and development group focused on capturing the methane from food processing wastewater and landfill-diverted organics via ultra-efficient anaerobic digestion.

ABOUT THE PROJECT: The team is completing a feasibility study of diverting Spokane County organic waste from landfills or incineration and instead converting the organic waste into renewable natural gas via anaerobic digestion. During NextCycle, the team will seek engagement from municipal and industrial stakeholders, produce a plan for the source separation of waste, and identify the ideal site, equipment, and funding for the project.
